Volunteer Treasurer for Red Deer Presbytery Camps Society (operating Kasota East Camp)
Description of Charity/Foundation:
Kasota East Camp is a children’s summer camp located on the beautiful shores of Sylvan Lake. We offer a dynamic camp program for all ages, and as well facilities for groups to use in the fall, winter, and spring. We hold majority of our meetings in Red Deer and connecting via online platform is also an option.
The camp is operated in affiliation with the United Church of Canada. Majority of the Board holds membership with the United Church of Canada, but this isn’t a requirement of all Directors.

• chairs the Finance Committee and supports the budgeting process
• provides leadership to carry put the terms of reference for the Finance Committee.
• collaborates with the Auditor and Bookkeeper in the review and presentation of the annual Auditor’s financial statements
Certification/Education Required:
Knowledge and experience in transferring financial records to new people and separating the roles of Bookkeeper from Treasurer.

We welcome all to join us in providing an environment of safety, love, respect and community; where Christ’s inclusive love can be celebrated and shared. KEC is committed to offering quality Christian education programs, consistent with United Church culture and tradition.
