Volunteer Treasurer for BEAM

Description of Organization:
BEAM Foundation is a not-for-profit foundation dedicated to improving the mental health and wellbeing of kids & youth in Calgary, Alberta. Our mission is to provide accessible and affordable wellness programs to children and youth who are sick, recovering, have special needs, or who come from low-income backgrounds.

Description of Role:
Call for Volunteer! We are seeking to fill our foundation’s treasurer position on the board of directors. This position requires an interest in accounting/financial matters and knowledge of or willingness to learn.
The Treasurer duties include preparing budgets for BEAM Foundation and accountability for financial reports at the Board of Director meetings. We are a registered CRA charity and would require accounting responsibilities for reporting and regulatory requirements.
